Inside the FORGE Coaching Standard
From the outside, coaching a working set can look like counting reps. From the coach’s side of the platform, it’s a continuous read of bar path, bracing, joint position, and bar speed — all being compared against what that specific athlete looked like in their last session.
FORGE coaches are trained to intervene early rather than after a rep breaks down. A subtle shift in bracing on rep three is more useful information than a missed rep five reveals — by rep five, the correction is already too late for that set.
This is also why FORGE keeps its coached sessions capped rather than running them as open floor time. A coach watching six athletes can still catch the details that matter. A coach watching twenty can only catch the ones that are already obvious.
None of this shows up as a number on a program page. It shows up as fewer stalled lifts, fewer nagging strains, and a training age that keeps climbing instead of resetting every few months.
